My Other Hobby ---- RED HAT SOCIETY!!!!

I am a member of the Concord Grapette Chapter of the Red Hat Society. The RH Society is called a "none organized organization" of women who are over 50 whose sole purpose is to celebrate life with the motto "live, love and laugh". My goal is to do a little bit (or a whole lot) of each every day!! Our chapter goes to a planned event at least once each month . We've been to places such as Murray's Dinner Playhouse, Marlsgate Plantation and many local restaurants.
In March, 2006, the Absolutely Fabulously Friendly Little Rockers hosted the first annual Ms. Arkansas Red Hat Pageant and I was honored to win the title. I will crown the winner at the pageant in April, 2007.

Arkansas GOVERNOR, Mike Huckabee, proclaimed Sunday, September 17, 2006 as Arkansas Red Hat Society Day. I am pictured above with the AFFLR chapter receiving the proclamation.
Dressed fit for a Red Hat Rodeo, I rode in the County Fair Parade!

Dressed in the outfit I made and wore in the pageant, I rode in my high school homecoming parade. Some say I'm a woman gone wild or to use the words of my husband "a half a bubble off level"!

Relaxing as we picked up a little red hat wannabe while shopping at Lisa's Closet!!

Some of us Red Hatters will wear anything on our head as long as it is RED!! I made this hat out of a bra, size 34B...How fun is that?????
The Grapettes at the local Hooter's. I made a T-Shirt to commemorate the day...it said "HATTERS"on the front!!

No, it's not Scarlet and Rhett...just the crazy lady and the real nice guy!!!

We had an old fashion box supper at church and "the nice guy" had to pay $65.00 to purchase my box that I had decorated in what else but RED HAT!!!!
